Bokdoeji / 57 yrs old I truly enjoyed the scientific, easy-to-understand explanation of the universe, the pictures, and myself that is a camera. I started Saturday afternoon, and on Wednesday I came to really experience and understand with my body and mind the true nature of the universe, me, truth, and falseness. As I subtracted my minds at this meditation, the conclusion I reached was that 3 days of studying was equivalent to 30 years of studying my mind. It was deeply moving. I was mesmerized by the music that accompanied the health exercises that we did every day, 3 times a day during our break times. Thank you for giving me the confidence that once you get the feel for it and just follow the meditation method, anyone can see the original mind of the universe. For the many of you practicing Zen Meditation, do not waste your time and come to the meditation main center in Nonsan. Here, while doing level one, which takes seven days, even if you meditate 3-5 days

Ivna/Researcher I have always felt a little cutoff.  I knew there had to be more to life than this seemingly endless cycle of dissatisfaction I simply could not break free from. Things would seem ok for a while but eventually that feeling of emptiness would come back and once again I would see that I was spending my whole life barely getting by.  I continued to be overpowered by my emotions, constantly seeking out pleasure and furiously avoiding pain. Fwumeei / Computer Engineer ” This Is Letting Go “ I didn’t know what I was looking for or why I sought, but I had been seeking for over 15 years. I read numerous spiritual books and attended many meditation retreats and workshops; but after I practiced this meditation, all my seeking stopped. There are many benefits I got from practicing this meditation, but the major one is the letting go of the strong attachment to my daughter. I used to live in her world, always arranging, planning things for her; thinking that I knew what was the best for her life. That was suffering for me. After subtracting the picture world, I realized that she doesn’t consume my thoughts anymore. I can respect her decisions, her life path….This is freedom for me and my daughter. Jena / Artist ” I No Longer Felt Like an Outsider “ Before I started this meditation, I was very conscious of my surroundings and was concerned with what people thought about me.  I wanted to be liked and was afraid to say no to people.  Friends knew me as the ‘nice and cheerful’ girl. But often, I felt the opposite inside.  I always felt like an outsider trying to fit in no matter where I was.  Sometimes, I did not want to see anyone, and stayed home by myself without going out for days. Within a month of this meditation, a lot of my worries and concerns with my self-image disappeared. As I continued to let go of my self-image, I became more open and started communicating better with my friends and family.  I realized that I was looking at everyone with a critical eye and had high expectations from everyone, just like I had high expectations from myself.  When I let go of the expectations and accepted myself, I no longer felt like an outsider. un-yong Um / Taxi Driver Jun-yong Um had been a banker, and after his retirement, he opened his own small business. But he lost everything due to the economic situation in South Korea (The 1990’s Korean Financial Crisis). After that, he became a taxi driver. He had to drive 16 hours a day and deal with intoxicated passengers. Right around the time when he realized why everyone says being a taxi driver is very tough, he found the meditation. But, after going through this meditation, he started to enjoy his job even if he had to deal with weird passengers and heavy traffic. Now he knows how to throw away his anger right at that moment, every time he feels it. He wants to convey the freedom he feels while living life. Chung Ji Su Before I started this meditation, I was so nervous and sensitive that I would feel a lot of stress and distracting thoughts over every little things. Through my meditation, as I kept looking back on my life and throwing away, now my mind is not disturbed easily. Truth is an everlasting, never-changing and living existence. This is the correct definition of Truth. The existence that is everlasting, never-changing and alive is the body, Jung, and mind, Shin, of the Universe, which existed before the great Universe. There were people living in the world even a long time ago. The many people who lived in the world throughout the ages have all disappeared, silently and without a trace. While they lived, they were attached to the realities of their daily lives and they suffered because of their minds of possession, but despite all of their agonizing over the meaningless events of life, no trace of them remains. Ultimately, there is no meaning in human life. The only way for man to live forever and escape from suffering and burden is to die while he is still living. Only then can he find his true self. His true self is God who remains when he is dead. Even if all people and the world disappear, what remains is the existence without form, taste, scent, sight, hearing and feeling. Falseness is what does not exist and reality is what does exist. The human mind world that man makes is false and the world is real. It is the way of the world that everything in the world comes from and returns to the origin, the source, or the original foundation. The origin is the only thing that is real. People are dead and false because they take pictures of the real world and live inside those pictures. Everything in the world came from the original foundation and is the original foundation whether it exists or not. Only the original foundation is real. Moreover, when everything in the world has been born in the true world which is the original foundation, it will all become real, eternal and without death. An innumerable number of people have come and gone in this world, but no one knows where they came from or where they went. In any case, they have all disappeared from the world. Whether or not man has a soul is something that is often discussed. The law of nature is that all material existences in the world come from the origin and go back to the origin. This is the law of the Universe. A person who believes in Truth, that is, a person who has become Truth, can be reborn in the kingdom of Truth. Only the master of Truth can enable him to be reborn, and can resurrect his soul. The soul that man speaks of is false for it is an illusion that his false self mistakenly believes to exist in his own false mind. Therefore it is not really a soul. Those who say that man has a soul are those who have been born into a false world and they are those who speaks as if they know things out of the ordinary. However, these people are dead because the world they think they have been born into is their own mind world. Truth knows both what is false and what is true, but falseness knows neither Truth nor falseness. Therefore, no one in the world knows Truth because man is not real but false and incomplete. He is an entity without life and he is a sinner because he makes and lives in his own world that has turned its back on God, Truth. Only Truth can destroy and eliminate falseness and only the master of the original foundation, of Truth, knows the method to do so. In other words, only what is true can eliminate falseness. Because man is false and an illusion, this falseness must be eliminated if he is to return to the world and be born as a real person. This is man’s salvation. I have asked people if they know what is true. I have also asked them if they know what is false. No one has been able to give a proper answer to either question. Truth is an existence that is real, everlasting, never-changing and alive. This existence is the sky before the sky – the Creator and the source of everything in heaven and earth. The sky is the Creator and Truth itself which existed an eternity before and which will exist an eternity after. The stars, the sun, the moon and the Earth came from this sky as did people and everything on Earth. The sky is the source – everything came from it and therefore everything is the sky.
