” I No Longer Felt Like an Outsider “

Before I started this meditation, I was very conscious of my surroundings and was concerned with what people thought about me.  I wanted to be liked and was afraid to say no to people.  Friends knew me as the ‘nice and cheerful’ girl.
But often, I felt the opposite inside.  I always felt like an outsider trying to fit in no matter where I was.  Sometimes, I did not want to see anyone, and stayed home by myself without going out for days.
Within a month of this meditation, a lot of my worries and concerns with my self-image disappeared.
As I continued to let go of my self-image, I became more open and started communicating better with my friends and family.  I realized that I was looking at everyone with a critical eye and had high expectations from everyone, just like I had high expectations from myself.  When I let go of the expectations and accepted myself, I no longer felt like an outsider.
The transformation has been incredible.  I am so happy and appreciative of this meditation.
