Teacher Woo Myung Poem – Acceptance Is The Greatest Thing Of All

Acceptance Is The Greatest Thing Of All

Acceptance is the greatest thing of all because
it means to embrace everything without discernment.
One embraces so that
one may be awakened of that which one has embraced.
Being awakened does not mean
to gain enlightenment by
discerning until one knows for sure
what is and what is not;
rather, it means to gain enlightenment despite such discernment;
it means to discern until one knows it for sure,
yet not be bound to one’s discernment;
it means to discern with the Mind that is absent of self.
Because this Mind embraces the narrow minds of others,
it is the Mind of great mercy and great benevolence;
it is the Mind of true, great heart.
According to Nature’s flow,
acceptance is the wisdom of life,
in which a life that follows this flow is
a life of acceptance.
Acceptance is perfect,
and so it belongs to nothing.
Yet it allows for everything to become one;
it allows us to live seeing things just as they are
so that though one may teach,
one does not belong to the teachings –
one just teaches,
one simply does it –
which is why it is acceptance.

Campbell Meditation Experience - Meditation Taught Me To Accept The World

  Campbell Meditation Experience – Meditation Taught Me To Accept The World Gadhi Asan – Campbell, CA Before I discovered this meditation, I really felt like I had reached the end of my rope. I felt like there was always a big, heavy stone in my chest and the pain was so bad that I wasn’t sleeping well. It was stress. I was barely living, carrying the everyday stress and difficulties of my life. Then, I found this meditation. At that time, I started this study sincerely with the intention of getting even a little relief. Even though I have never practiced meditation, this method, made by Woo Myung, was very simple and fun to do. One of the things about this study that I enjoyed was that I could look back on myself. Since I was a child, I had so much inferiority that I always hated losing to others. My tendency was to focus on winning whenever I competed with others. This made my life very lonely because I was always uncomfortable around other people. And other people were uncomfort...

Campbell Meditation Experience - I sleep like a baby after practicing this meditation.

  Campbell Meditation Experience - I sleep like a baby after practicing this meditation.  I sleep like a baby after practicing this meditation. James Miller, Cupertino, CA I consider myself to be a sensitive person; I am sensitive to sounds and can’t bear loud noises. I also easily absorb other people’s emotions. To be honest though, I didn’t realize for a long time that I was like this. When my mind was tense, my body would also be tense and vice-versa. My sympathetic nervous system was constantly activated and this made it hard to sleep well. I always felt tired. When I couldn’t get enough sleep, again my body and mind would be tense which created this vicious cycle that I felt trapped in. And then, I found this meditation, and my life has completely changed after practicing it for about 5 months now. Now, I am no longer as sensitive. I sleep like a baby and my body and mind are more relaxed. I am no longer trapped in this vicious cycle. So I wanted to share my sto...
